1-Day Itinerary
Explore the summit of Kilauea Volcano on the 11-mile Crater Rim Drive through Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This road encircles the summit caldera, passing through desert and lush tropical rain forests, then traversing the caldera floor. Watch for well-marked scenic stops and short walks.
